WESTHILL ACADEMY GSA (Gender & Sexual Orientation Alliance)

The GSA is a lunchtime club for anyone in Westhill Academy who is interested in LGBTQ+ issues. It meets on a Monday lunchtime, we relax, chat, enjoy each other’s company and eat lunch.

We discuss issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community both in school and in the wider world. We sometimes have a library session to look at and talk about available resources. Visiting speakers occasionally join us – for example Four Pillars from Aberdeen. We explore and put into practice ideas to improve the LGBTQ+ experience in Westhill Academy.
